Join over 230+ neighborhood volunteers making our neighborhood a better place through various projects or programs throughout the year.
Get Involved DonateThe LHENA Volunteer Network (LVN), previously Neighbors Helping Neighbors, started with an initial focus on mutual aid at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, they’ve expanded to initiatives such as snow shoveling, ridesharing, coat drives, community events, and more! Ultimately, through mutual aid, volunteer opportunities, and community building, LVN strives to cultivate a community where neighbors can live with each other, not just next to each other.
Resource sharing and social connections are integral to what we do, which is why we plan a monthly Happy Hour Social at a neighborhood restaurant, theater, or gathering space. Check out our events calendar to find out when our next social is happening.
