A New Website!
Laying the foundation for growth and exciting features to come.
It’s with great excitement that I get to announce that LHENA has a new website or “digital home”. While the new website is an upgrade in usability, it is also a major overhaul behind the scenes to enable us to grow more effectively in the coming months and years.
This project was born out of the new Technology & Strategy Committee after setting a multi-year technology vision for the organization based on ranked priorities. A huge thanks to Jordan Peacock, Cate Bosserman, and Pete Boisclair for their time in those efforts. Gratitude is also extended to all those who participated in conversations outside of the committee as well.
The website project was fast tracked by the LHENA Board to be completed this year and we are now unveiling Phase 1! The time and resources to build the website was donated to LHENA.
Phase 1 upgrades:
-
- New platform that allows for growth and more powerful features
- Improved user interface
- New site architecture (organization of content) to improve locating of content
- New Resource hub
- Revamped News section
Additional phases will be released in the coming year with more features such as an interactive neighborhood map, neighborhood history features, and more fun interactivity.
Here’s to an exciting new chapter!
