LHENA appears on new citywide Podcast

For those who think we reached peak podcast saturation years ago, please open your hearts and minds to one more entry on the list of cracks at the medium. LHENA was honored to join the Lyndale Neighborhood Association (LNA) on the inaugural episode of a new podcast created by the City of Minneapolis called “In the Neighborhood“. Through this podcast, the Neighborhood and Community Relations Department (NCR) hopes to spotlight the grassroots work being done at the 60 plus neighborhoods in Minneapolis. Episode 1 focuses on how LHENA and LNA approach community engagement, what works and what doesn’t when it comes to encouraging neighbors to get involved and share their ideas. If you know me, you know how adamant I am about the bidirectionally of engagement, it is just as much about giving folks a reason to interact with LHENA as it is about going out and engaging through flyers, e-news, and events. This bidirectionally informs the way LHENA approaches new projects and ideas, ensuring that we maintain not just push, put pull factors as well when it coms to bringing neighbors in and incorporating new ideas.
